This a rare and awesome Omega Chronometre from the 1940s made for the French market, with cases produced in Omega Besancon (MBF, Maison Brandt Freres) and have dial marked “Fab Suisse” to indicate that the movement is of Swiss origin. The design of the case is very clean and sharp. Particularly lovely the distinctive lyra-shaped lugs. 18kt solid yellow gold snap case, fixed lugs, measures 35,5mm excluding crown, with no dings, scratches or dents. Original nice two tone dial with arabic and batons indexes. Powered by the incredible Caliber 30t2SCrg which is perfect and runs like it should. This rare dress watch is in overall excellent condition, fitted by a leather hand made strap with a 18kt pg fab suisse buckle. Feel free to ask for more high resolution pictures you may need.
