1930's Duo Dial Longines doctor's watch. Longines Caliber 9.32 movement, manufactured for only seven years, the hand wound, was one of the most sought Longines movements produced in this era. Original dial with a nice patina, looks awesome for it's age. The layout, with two distinct areas to the dial, the upper hour and minute counter and the lower containing the second hand. The duo dialed wristwatch and the medical profession came about on account of the high visibility of the separate seconds dial making these watches ideal for use when timing a patient's heartbeat over a sixty second period. Excellent overall condition, with only minor wear. Case measures 21mm wide, excluding crown and 38mm, including the lugs. . The perfectly straight blued steel ornate hands and crisp Arabic hour markers are classically 1930′s and very reminiscent of the Rolex Prince.
